Yesterday, after having the blood drawn on an empty stomach to see if my glucose levels are out of control, which they weren't -- at least right then -- I went to Sherry's to eagerly have my first cup of coffee.  She was pulling home made cinnamon rolls out of the oven.
Ha!  Good thing I didn't have the blood test done in the afternoon, I think.  They were so yummy -- and frosted!

She has the cutest little dog.  White and fluffy and couldn't weigh more than a few pounds.  My friend got this puppy as a retirement pressie to herself and has gone completely off the deep end for this dog.  You'd think is was a newborn baby.
They named him Max.  Big bad Max.

Ran a few errands.   Found fun stuff at the dollar store for the kids for Monday, Valentines day.  And finally picked up my coupon for half price dinners at Cisco's, one of my favorite restaurants.

Spent the evening at home watching Kenneth Branagh be Wallendar on the old Masterpiece Theater Series I've never seen before.  Some episodes are great and some rather trite and theatrical but I like watching him.  I really liked the series he did with Emma Thompson.

And, of course, everyone surely loves his Hamlet.

Yesterday was a great day here in Northern California.  Drove all
around with Little Walter blaring and the windows wide open.  It'll start raining again soon but the weather these days has been lovely.

Up early this morning to finish my Ruth Rendell novel.
